State Employee Cost Reduction Suggestions

Governor Beshear asked Kentucky state employees and others to give him suggestions to make state government more efficient and to cut costs.  State employees responded with approximately 3,500 suggestions. These suggestions encompass energy conservation, changes in practices that would reduce costs, reorganization, staffing, double-dipping, training, work hours, state vehicles, and everything in between.
